Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren has called on the Trump administration to release its September non-farm payrolls report "as scheduled" on Friday amid the government shutdown, according to Kim Ten. The Senate Banking Committee aide said the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has completed its collection of labor data for September and may be ready to release it. Warren pointed out that the lack of non-farm payrolls data will affect the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, which in turn affects every household in the country. The BLS previously said that major economic data will not be released during the government shutdown.
