Thailand's cryptocurrency ETF is set to expand beyond bitcoin

Thailand is planning to expand its domestic cryptocurrency exchange-traded fund (ETF) program from bitcoin to other digital tokens, expected to be launched early next year. Pornanong Budsaratragoon, secretary general of the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), said the SEC and other relevant agencies are drafting rules for new ETFs offered by local mutual funds and institutions, adding further clarification to plans announced earlier this year.
