He said that the next era of finance is not for institutions to keep funds for users, but for users to truly control their future on the chain. Talking about why everything will be on the chain? Star emphasized that finance is like the development of the Internet, moving from a closed system to an open protocol. The core features of on-chain systems include transparency, programmability, composability, and global reach. In addition, the infrastructure of on-chain finance is fully in place: technology, capital and regulatory rules are in place, and the infrastructure is no longer in the theoretical stage, but in the production stage. For example, the scalable L2 network X Layer and L1 network are supporting true on-chain finance; Bitcoin has become a reserve currency, and stablecoins have taken on the role of settlement layer.
