On May 8th, it was reported that the Cosmos Hub community is voting on the "Gaia v16 Software Upgrade" governance proposal, which will end on May 10th. This release introduces the following new features: ICA Controller Submodule IBC, Rate Limiting Module (with the initial rate limit outlined in Proposition 890), IBC Fee Module, ICS epochs (part of ICS v4.1.0). After the governance vote is approved, the relevant binaries for Gaia v16.0.0 need to be updated and submitted to Cosmos Hub. The update process will take about two weeks.
In addition, according to the announcement released by Upbit to support the upgrade of the Cosmos network "Gaia v16", Upbit will suspend the network deposit and withdrawal on May 15 and resume after the network upgrade is stable.
