OKX Exchange will soon support DEX trading and has opened a limited public beta

On September 30, Thomas Tse, head of OKX trading products, shared for the first time at the "The New Money Era" theme event of the OKX Alphas Summit that the OKX exchange will support DEX trading function, allowing users to directly use the exchange account balance (USDT, USDC or network native tokens) to trade on-chain tokens without switching wallets or cross-chain operations. After the official launch, the first phase will cover X Layer, SOL, Base, BSC, and will be expanded to more networks such as ETH in the future. DEX trading not only provides better execution price, faster transaction and zero transaction fees, but also has built-in one-stop services such as token discovery, market intelligence and portfolio tracking functions, making it faster and more secure. Users can create self-hosted wallets in seconds, support Passkey and facial recognition, no mnemonic required, and exchange assets for potential coins with one click. It is reported that the OKX exchange DEX trading has officially opened a limited public beta. The first batch of 1,000 experience codes will be issued globally, and users can enjoy free handling fees during the public beta period. This function aims to break the boundary between CEX and DEX, allowing users to buy and sell on-chain tokens with one click in the familiar exchange interface.
