Core Scientific has scheduled an extraordinary shareholder meeting for October 30 to vote on its proposed merger with artificial intelligence cloud computing company CoreWeave. The meeting, which will be held online, will ask investors to vote on the July 7 merger agreement, which will make Core Scientific a wholly owned subsidiary of CoreWeave, according to a final proxy statement filed with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday. Shareholders will also vote on a proposal for executive compensation advice related to the transaction.
