Since Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) was released from prison more than a year ago after serving a prison sentence for failing to enforce the Bank Secrecy Act, its net worth valuation has increased by about $20 billion.
According to a Forbes archive, Mr. Zhao's net worth at the time of his release was estimated to be around $61 billion, but the latest estimates put his wealth at $80.60 billion, an increase of nearly $20 billion.
At the same time, Bloomberg, which maintains the rich list, estimates that Zhao Changpeng's net worth when he is released from prison is about 30.80 billion US dollars, and now it is about 52.10 billion US dollars, an increase of more than 20 billion US dollars.
Notably, Forbes' previous estimates of Changpeng Zhao's net worth suggested that his wealth could increase by as much as $25 million a day on average during his four-month sentence. Forbes listed his wealth as $33 billion and $57.80 billion in two snapshots dated May 7 and July 12, respectively.
