Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, has suspended his re-election campaign, citing media speculation and campaign finance issues. Mr. Adams, a cryptocurrency advocate who paid his first three salaries in bitcoin and convened a summit with local crypto companies, has not endorsed any of his main rivals: Zohlan Mandani, the Democratic nominee; Andrew Cuomo, the former New York governor; and Curtis Sliva, the Republican nominee.
