Citi released the Stablecoins 2030 report, saying that the 2030 stablecoin issuance size forecast will be raised to the baseline $1.90 trillion, and the optimistic scenario may reach $4 trillion.
The report also said that at 50 times the circulation rate (a level similar to the payment rate of fiat currencies), stablecoins are predicted to support about $100 trillion of trading activity per year by 2030, and as much as $200 trillion in the best case.
According to DefiLlama data, the current total market value of stablecoins is about 296.80 billion US dollars, of which USDT accounts for 58.75%.
