Hester Peirce, a commissioner of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) who goes by the nickname "Crypto Mom", said at the Coin Center dinner that regulators have entered a new phase of being more friendly to cryptocurrencies and apologized for being too harsh in the past. She called for the industry to be promoted as soon as possible, and mentioned that the SEC has established a crypto task force in the past year, dropped multiple cases and launched "Project Crypto" to update relevant rules. Peirce also humorously proposed the launch of an NFT series called "Breakfast for Dogs" in her speech, which satirized and depicted different characters in the crypto community.
