Apple's artificial intelligence division is using the app to quickly evaluate new features for the Siri voice assistant, including testing its ability to search for personal data such as songs and emails, as well as perform in-app actions such as editing photos, people familiar with the matter said. The software, code-named "Veritas," which means "truth" in Latin, is for internal use only, at least for now. Apple has no current plans to release the app to consumers.
