In response to Nate Geraci, president of The ETF Store, who believes that the SEC's common listing standards are the death knell for DATS (digital asset treasury companies), and that DAT has been able to thrive through regulatory arbitrage, James Seyffart, an analyst at Bloomberg, wrote on the X platform, "I disagree with this view. ETFs are not killing MSTR (MicroStrategy). They are also unable to invest capital in a DeFi ecosystem like ETH (Ethereum) or SOL to generate returns/earnings. That being said, if you're just referring to a lot of things that exist now that won't exist in the future, I agree."
