On September 25, UAE-based investment institution M2 Capital announced a $20 million investment in cryptocurrency protocol Ethena for its governance token, ENA. Ethena, known for its crypto-native synthetic dollar product USDe and its earnings version, sUSDe, has attracted over 14 billion USD deposits.
M2 Global Wealth will integrate Ethena into its wealth management offering to provide regulated digital asset income channels to clients in the Middle East.
