The venture capital arm of stablecoin firm Circle has partnered with crypto infrastructure firm Crossmint to expand the USDC stablecoin to more blockchain channels in order to achieve its goal of reaching billions of users, including AI agents.
In announcing the partnership with Circle Ventures on Wednesday, Crossmint said: "By combining the Crossmint wallet and the API for stablecoin deposits, orchestration and proxy payments with USDC, we are laying the groundwork for a new era in finance where money flows almost instantaneously, is globally accessible, and systems are built for both humans and machines."
