According to CCTV news, a Florida jury on September 23 local time found Ryan Wesley Rouse guilty of all counts of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump at a golf course last year. In addition to the three federal gun charges related to the shooting incident, the jury also found him guilty of assaulting a Secret Service agent. On the afternoon of September 15, 2024, the US Secret Service said it foiled a suspected assassination plot against Trump in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump was playing golf at the time of the incident. Secret Service personnel immediately shot and stopped after finding someone sticking a gun out of the course fence and pointing it at Trump. The suspect fled in a car and was later caught in neighboring Martin County.
