According to a poll conducted jointly by Reuters and Ipsos, cited by CCTV News, Trump's approval rating has dipped slightly in recent weeks due to Americans' concerns about the state of the U.S. economy and the government's ability to control price increases. The results showed that 41% of respondents approved of Trump's performance as president, down from 42% in early September. About 54% of respondents said the national economy is on the wrong track, up from 53% in August and 52% in July. Only 35% of respondents approved of Trump's economic governance, while 28% praised his cost of living management, both figures slightly lower than previous poll results. In addition, multiple polls since the beginning of this year have shown that Americans see political extremism as the biggest problem in the United States, with about 28% of respondents in the most recent poll listing it as their top issue, compared to 16% who chose economic issues as their top issue.
