OpenAI and Oracle to Announce Expansion of Data Center in Texas

N) new co-CEO Clay Magouryk are expected to announce on Tuesday the expansion of their data centers in Texas. Oracle Cloud is operating data centers in the region, and the maker of ChatGPT is expected to spend hundreds of billions of dollars leasing servers from these facilities over the next decade. The event comes a day after Altman and Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced that the chip design company will invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI over an unspecified period of time to help the startup develop its own data centers.
