On March 26th, Xu Zhibin, Deputy Director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange of China, stated at the "Investing in the Future of Asia" sub forum of the Boao Forum for Asia 2024 that the trend of China's FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) is basically consistent with that of the world and Asia: after reaching a high point in 2021, there has been a slight decline in 2022 and 2023. Xu Zhibin believes that from a broader perspective and a longer timeline, these fluctuations are very normal.
