On September 23rd, recently, in response to the failure of the UC platform to implement the main responsibility for information content management, the information released by non-authoritative departments and authoritative media such as the entry of extremely sensitive and malignant cases on the main list of hot search lists involves online violence, minors' privacy and other related topics, and undermines the ecological order of the network. The Cyberspace Administration of the People's Republic of China has guided the Guangdong Cyberspace Administration to take disciplinary measures such as interviews, orders to make corrections within a time limit, warnings, and severe treatment of the responsible persons on the UC platform in accordance with the "Regulations on the Ecological Governance of Network Information Content" and other relevant provisions.
