On September 23rd, according to Bloomberg, Magda Wierzycka, CEO of South African asset management company Sygnia (with a management scale of about 20 billion US dollars), said that investors will be discouraged from transferring all their assets to bitcoin funds, and recommended that the relevant allocation should not exceed 5%.
She said bitcoin was overvalued, but had shifted from speculative to long-term investments. Sygnia launched its Bitcoin Plus fund in June with significant inflows and plans to issue more crypto ETFs on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange when regulatory restrictions are lifted.
