On September 23rd, Beijing time on the afternoon of September 22nd, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council left Beijing on a chartered plane to attend the general debate of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly and related high-level events in New York. On the afternoon of the 22nd local time, Li Qiang arrived at JFK International Airport in New York by chartered plane. Chinese Permanent Representative to the United Nations Fu Cong, Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng, and Consul General in New York Chen Li were greeted at the airport. During his stay in New York, Li Qiang will also attend the high-level meeting on global development initiatives hosted by China, and hold meetings with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and leaders of relevant countries.
