Rainbow plans to launch its native token RNBW in the fourth quarter.

Rainbow, a non-custodial crypto wallet, has announced that it will launch its native token, RNBW, by the end of this year. The launch follows Consensys founder Joe Lubin's confirmation that MetaMask is preparing MASK tokens. The Rainbow team said that RNBW is part of the "third phase", which will also launch features such as DeFi position management, multi-chain support, real-time price and instant balance updates, and introduce perpetual contract trading powered by Hyperliquid. Rainbow launched a points program in 2023 to attract users, and completed a $18 million Series A round led by Seven Seven Six, a fund founded by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, in 2022.
