Oracle (ORCL. N) announced that it has promoted Clay Magouyark and Mike Sicilia to CEO positions.
As a founding member of Oracle's Cloud Engineering team, Magurk led the design, implementation, and commercial success of OCI's second-generation platform. Under his leadership, OCI has achieved unprecedented growth and has become the platform of choice for AI training and inference.
Mike Sicilia has deep expertise in vertical application and applied AI. He leads the engineering team that pioneered the use of intent-based application generation technology to build Oracle applications instead of traditional coding. His team has also integrated highly complex AI agents into Oracle's suite of applications in industries such as healthcare, banking, communications, utilities, hospitality, and retail.
Clay and Mike are proven and outstanding leaders, and I look forward to working alongside them in the years to come, said Ellison, chairperson and chief technology officer of Oracle. Oracle's future is bright.
