The Ethereum (ETH) pledge entry queue has fallen to its lowest level in four weeks, as the market fears that a surge in exit queues could trigger a massive sell-off. The market has found that continued overweight and buying of Ethereum treasury and spot ETH ETFs is absorbing the selling pressure. Most of these institutions have pledged or plan to pledge assets for additional income, which may drive the increase in the pledge entry queue in the coming weeks. Another positive expectation is the potential launch of ETH pledge ETFs, which means that some investors may release liquidity and re-enter related products in the future to adjust market exposure rather than exit the ETH market entirely. The deadline for final approval by the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) is April 2026, and according to analyst Axel Bitblaze, approval could be brought forward to October 2025, adding: "The next deadline for BlackRock's ETH pledge approval is in October, and I think approval is likely to happen."
