On the evening of September 19, the heads of state of China and the United States held a phone call to candidly and deeply confer on current Sino-US relations and issues of common concern, and make strategic guidelines for the stable development of Sino-US relations in the next stage. China's position on the TikTok issue is clear. The Chinese government respects the wishes of enterprises and is happy to see enterprises do a good job in commercial negotiations on the basis of market rules and reach a solution that is in line with Chinese laws and regulations and balances interests.
