On September 20th, recently, in response to the failure of the Weibo platform to implement the main responsibility for information content management, a large number of hype stars' personal dynamics and trivia items and other bad information content were presented at the top of the hot search list, which damaged the network ecology. The State Cyberspace Administration instructed the Beijing Municipal Cyberspace Administration to take disciplinary measures such as interviews, orders to make corrections within a time limit, warnings, and severe treatment of the responsible persons on the Weibo platform in accordance with the "Regulations on the Ecological Governance of Network Information Content" and other relevant provisions.
