Microsoft to build second data center in Wisconsin for $4 billion

Microsoft Chairperson and CEO Nadella announced Thursday that it will spend $4 billion to build a second data center in southeastern Wisconsin to expand its data center coverage. The facility, called Fairwater, is scheduled to open in early 2026 and will house hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA (NVDA. O) GB200 chips.
