Huang Renxun: NVIDIA AI and Intel CPUs are closely integrated

NVIDIA will inject $5 billion into Intel as part of a collaboration between the two tech giants to develop custom data centre and personal computing products. Intel will build NVIDIA's custom x86 CPUs, which NVIDIA will integrate into its artificial intelligence infrastructure platform, and Intel will build a system of chips for the small NVIDIA chips that power PCs. "This historic collaboration tightly integrates NVIDIA's artificial intelligence and accelerated computing stack with Intel's CPUs and the vast x86 ecosystem," said Jen-Hsun Huang, NVIDIA chief executive.
