The main stock indexes of Japan and South Korea hit another closing high on Thursday. The Nikkei 225 index closed up 513.05 points, or 1.15%, at 45,303.43 on Thursday, September 18. South Korea's KOSPI index closed up 47.9 points, or 1.4%, at 3,461.3 on Thursday, September 18. (Jin Ten)
