Jack McIntyre, a portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton, said the Fed's policy views on 2026 are significantly divergent, which could mean more volatility in the financial marekt next year. He pointed out that this rate cut is a risk management operation, indicating that the Federal Reserve is paying more attention to the weakness of the labor market. Investment strategist Larry Hatheway believes that while the market has digested expectations of a sharp easing by the Federal Reserve, the challenge for investors is that the Federal Reserve has not yet been willing to endorse the expected future path of low interest rates.
