Nvidia announced a $683 million investment in Nscale, a British artificial intelligence infrastructure company spun off from a cryptocurrency miner in 2024.
Jen-Hsun Huang, chief executive of Nvidia, said the investment in Nscale, the artificial intelligence arm of cryptocurrency mining company Arkon Energy, is an important move to boost artificial intelligence infrastructure building in the UK. Nscale was spun off from Arkon in May 2024 to provide artificial intelligence Cloud as a Service across Europe.
