Anthropic CEO: 25% chance of artificial intelligence becoming "very bad" in the future

Dario Amodei, chief executive of Anthropic, told a summit on Wednesday that there was a 25 per cent chance the future of artificial intelligence would be "very bad", according to the AXIOS website. Asked about the " (p) doom number", Mr. Amodei gave the percentage. Mr. Amodei said confronting potential concerns about artificial intelligence was key to positive outcomes. "I actually hate that," he said, adding that AI had a "75 per cent chance of being very good".
