Metaplanet strategically acquires Bitcoin.jp domain and establishes two new subsidiaries

On September 17, Metaplanet announced that it has strategically acquired the bitcoin-related domain name "Bitcoin.jp" and established a full subsidiary "Bitcoin Japan Co., Ltd." The company will be responsible for operating bitcoin-related media, events and services, including Bitcoin.jp, Bitcoin Magazine Japan and the future Bitcoin Japan conference. In addition, Metaplanet has established a new subsidiary "Metaplanet Income Corp." in the United States to focus on bitcoin revenue business and related derivatives transactions.
