Li Jiachao: Assisting mainland technology companies to raise funds in Hong Kong

On September 17th, Li Jiachao, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, delivered a new policy address at the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (17th). Li Jiachao said that Hong Kong will assist mainland technology enterprises to raise funds in Hong Kong through the "special line of science and technology enterprises", and strengthen financial support for the country to build a scientific and technological power; further improve the main board listing and structured product issuance mechanism; study and optimize the "same share different rights" listing regulations; promote more overseas companies to list in Hong Kong for the second time; assist Chinese concept stocks to return to Hong Kong as the first choice; promote the RMB trading desk of Hong Kong stocks to include "Stock Connect" southbound trading.
