SEPTEMBER 17 (Reuters) - The European Union and Indonesia have concluded talks on a trade pact and plan to sign it next week as they accelerate efforts to reduce their reliance on the United States. Officials in Brussels and Jakarta said European Union Commission Vice President Sergei Cefcovic planned to travel to Indonesia on September 23 to sign the deal. US President Donald Trump's import tariffs have accelerated negotiations. Washington has forced Jakarta to accept a full 19 per cent tariff rate and Brussels to agree to a 15 per cent tariff rate on most products.
