On September 16, WeChat Pay officially announced the upgrade of its "outsourcing and internal use" service. WeChat Pay HK, HiPay, Liquid Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and Zalo Pay will be connected to the "cross-border QR code unified gateway" one after another, and a number of payment service providers have completed the signing of cooperation memorandums. After entering the country, users who hold the above-mentioned overseas wallets will be able to directly use these overseas wallet APPs to scan the WeChat Pay payment code to complete payment.
