The SEC has announced the addition of four new members to its Investor Advisory Committee

The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) today announced the addition of four new members to its Investor Advisory Committee to fill its vacant positions. The new members will serve a four-year term and will form the committee together with the existing 16 members of the Commission. The committee was established under Section 39 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to advise the SEC on regulatory priorities and initiatives aimed at protecting investors and promoting integrity in the U.S. securities markets.
The latest members of the Investor Advisory Committee include:
C. Rodney Comegys, Global Head of Equity at Vanguard Group
James R. Copland, Senior Fellow and Director of Legal Policy, Manhattan Institute
John A. Gulliver, Board of Supervisors of capital markets and Executive Director of the International Financial System Project
Sergio G. Rodriguera Jr., Co-founder of Straylight Systems, Inc
