S & P expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by 25 basis points this week to 4% to 4.25% amid cooling jobs data and stubbornly high inflation. S & P also expects the Bank of Canada to cut interest rates by 25 basis points to 2.5% and may cut rates at least again this year. (Golden Ten)
