According to Bloomberg, SC Ventures plans to raise funds to launch a $250 million fund to invest in digital assets in the financial services industry.
The global bank's venture capital arm plans to launch the fund in 2026 with backing from Middle Eastern investors. Gautam Jain, a partner at SC Ventures, reportedly said at the Money 20/20 event in Saudi Arabia on Monday that the fund aims to make global investments.
According to reports, Jain pointed out that SC Ventures also plans to launch a $100 million fund to invest in Africa and is considering launching its first venture debt fund. However, it is unclear whether the two funds will focus on digital assets.
