US stocks close: Nasdaq, S & P 500 continue to set new highs, Tesla rose more than 3%

On September 16, U.S. stocks closed on Monday, with the Dow initially closing up 0.1%, the S & P 500 up 0.47%, and the Nasdaq up 0.94%. The latter two continued to set new closing highs. Tesla (TSLA. O) rose 3.5%, Nvidia (NVDA. O) fell slightly, and Google (GOOG. O) rose 4.4%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed up 0.87%, setting a new intraday high since February 2022. Alibaba (BABA. N) rose nearly 2% and Li Auto (LI. O) rose nearly 7%.
