China and the United States hold talks on TikTok and other economic and trade issues in Madrid, Spain

On September 16th, from September 14th to 15th local time, Vice Premier He Lifeng, the Chinese leader of China-US economy and trade, held talks with the US leader, US Treasury Secretary Vincent and Trade Representative Greer in Madrid, Spain. Guided by the important consensus reached by the two heads of state during the phone call, the two sides had candid, in-depth and constructive communication on economic and trade issues of mutual concern, and reached a basic framework consensus on properly resolving TikTok-related issues in a cooperative manner, reducing investment obstacles, and promoting relevant economic and trade cooperation.
