Stripe's head of crypto leaves to join Polygon Labs as chief product officer

On September 15th, John Egan, the head of Stripe's crypto business, announced his departure and will join Polygon Labs as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Egan has led a number of major crypto acquisitions and businesses of Stripe, including: the acquisition of stablecoin startup Bridge for $1.10 billion (completed in February this year), the acquisition of crypto wallet company Privy and Paradigm to develop its own blockchain Tempo.
