The London Stock Exchange Group has announced the launch of a blockchain-based digital market infrastructure platform that will initially focus on the Private Offering Fund space, marking the exchange operator's official foray into the digital asset space. According to Monday's announcement, MembersCap has used the platform to complete the fundraising for its tokenized fund, MCM Fund 1. Archax, London's regulated digital stock exchange, is the nominal holder. By using blockchain technology, LSE Group aims to improve the efficiency of the private market - an area increasingly seen as a mature testing ground for digital transformation. While the current platform is only open to Private Offering Funds, the group plans to expand into other asset classes in the future. (Jin Ten)
