Jiangsu Semiconductor Association: US analog chips dumped in China by up to 300%

On September 14th, on September 13th, the Ministry of Commerce announced that it launched an anti-dumping investigation on imports of analog chips originating in the United States. According to the application documents submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association, the relevant US manufacturers include four, namely Texas Instruments, ADI, Broadcom, and ON Semiconductor. Preliminary evidence submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association shows that during the application investigation period, the prices of products originating in the United States for investigation continued to drop sharply. The dumping margin of exports to China was as high as 300%, and the products applied for investigation accounted for an average annual market share of 41% in China. From the perspective of absolute imports, the total number of imports of products applied for investigation showed a continuous and significant upward trend. From 2022 to 2024, the total number of imports was 1.159 billion, 1.299 billion, and 1.59 billion, respectively.
