The Ethereum Foundation's Privacy & Scaling Explorations team, renamed Ethereum Privacy Guardians, has released a roadmap outlining current progress in building comprehensive end-to-end privacy on the blockchain. The roadmap is structured around three focus areas: private writes, private reads, and private proofs, with the goal of making private on-chain operations on Ethereum pervasive, low-cost, and compliant.
Private Writes: Make the cost and convenience of private operations on the chain consistent with public operations.
Private Reads: enabling data to be read from the blockchain without revealing identity or intent.
Private Proving: Make the generation and verification of proofs fast, private, and accessible.
