Tesla chairperson: Musk's political involvement is a personal decision

Robin Danholm, chairperson of Tesla Inc (TSLA. O), has dismissed concerns that Mr. Musk's political activism has led to a fall in sales at the electric carmaker and said he would be given full autonomy over his future election participation. "Politically, his political motivations and actions are up to him," Ms Danholm said. "Obviously, we live in a democratic society, so everyone has the right to express their views." She added: "In my view, in the long run, people buy what they really love. Tesla vehicles are products that people really love." She added that Mr. Musk was still "front and centre" at Tesla after months in the White House.
