Interest rates on new loans issued by businesses remained historically low in August

On September 12, the People's Bank of China released data showing that in August, the weighted average interest rate of new loans issued by enterprises was about 3.1%, a slight decrease from the previous month, about 40 basis points lower than the same period last year, and the weighted average interest rate of new loans issued by individual housing was about 3.1%.
