The founder of Ethena today announced his withdrawal from the Hyperliquid USDH stablecoin offering, leaving the opportunity to the Native Markets team. After communicating directly with the community and validators, Ethena accepted criticism regarding its "non-Hyperliquid native team", among other things.
Despite withdrawing from the bidding, Ethena said it will continue to develop all of the products originally planned, including hUSDe native synthetic dollars, USDe-backed savings and card payment products, hedging liquidity on Hyperliquid, and innovative solutions based on the HIP-3 marketplace.
