More than half of the Supreme Court judges have voted to convict former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro of a coup

On September 12th, in the coup trial of former President Bolsonaro in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, on September 11th, Carmen Lucia, a judge of the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil, voted to convict him. So far, three of the five judges of the Federal Supreme Court have supported the conviction of Bolsonaro, and one has opposed it. Before the final ruling is announced on the 12th, if the four judges who have already voted do not change the decision, Bolsonaro will become the first former president in Brazilian history to be convicted of coup crimes.
