After Standard & Poor's Global (S & P Global) announced that Marathon Digital would be included in the SmallCap 600 index, Marathon Digital's stock price rose 18%, adding about $800 million to its market capitalization. Marathon Digital also filed an 8-K report outlining the structure of bonuses worth up to $32.90 million to executives, including CEO Fred Thiel, in 2024.
